The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, on Sunday. According to a press release from the Serbian leader's office, they discussed the political and economic situation in the region, as well as the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
"Serbia values friendship and support from Russia in international organizations," Vucic emphasized.
The sides also discussed the situation in Kosovo and Metohija. Vucic expressed Serbia's gratitude for Russia's support in preserving Serbia's territorial integrity and condemned the formation of the so-called Kosovo army.
After negotiations with Putin, Vucic held a meeting with the chairman of the State Council and Parliament of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, in Moscow.
